How it works
- Parse — the ingredient label is parsed, extracting E-numbers, percentages, compound ingredients, and may contain statements
- Lookup — each ingredient is matched against the regulatory database using fuzzy matching
- Check — rules are applied per jurisdiction (UK, EU, US)
- Report — findings are returned with severity ratings, regulation references, and guidance
Severity levels

| 🔴 Fail | Banned or illegal — do not use |
